This year f4 opted for another Citybreak and Newcastle was the most chosen place. A group of 11 of us stayed up in Whitley Bay and covered a decent area, including Marsden Beach, Tynemouth, Beamish, Newcastle City, Blyth, St Mary's Island and others.
Our competition last night saw a great variation in entries from those places and was judged and critiqued extremely well by our own ex-Chairman, Ed Openshaw. The top 2 entries all gained a maximum 20 points and Ed's personal choice was "Millenium Bridge 1" by Philip Desforges, with "St Mary's At Sunrise" by Julian Ogino-Stamford in 2nd place and "Newcastle 5" by Ian Glaves in 3rd.
Well done to everyone, especially Dessi who took home the Landlord's Cheetah Trophy for his efforts. Also thanks to Ed for coming down with Ruth to judge.
